Movement/Performance art is just as important to Briana Hill, M.Ed as fine and digital art.
As a multidimensional artist who grounded her artistic passions as a international painter, digital designer and artist-educator,
B. Hill tucked a hidden talent away that was practiced since the age of eight; dance.
Eight-year-old B. Hill was first trained in ballet and jazz in an after school program with the "Dance Theater of Harlem" in New York City. Then, trained and performed as a dancer/cheerleader in middle school "I.S 90", located in Washington Heights-Manhattan. After, she practiced Jamaican Dancehall dance amongst friends in high school. During B. Hill's first year of college, she joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and was one of the pioneers of the New York Zeta Stroll team after graduating college. With this team, she performed and earned three first place wins ( in three consecutive years: 2014-2016) for "Atlanta Greek Picnic" in Atlanta, Georgia.
Today, Afia Wisdom is the name used when B. Hill is expressing her creativity through movement and she intentionally shares dance genres that are cultural responsive to Afro-Indigenous "Black" people.
